Moomba

Took the kids to Moomba today, along with FIL, SIL, BIL, his partner and his two kids. It was a lot of fun but I think I must be getting grumpy in my old age. When we were watching the parade, loads of adults were standing in front of the barriers while small children strained to see. I don’t want to go getting all “back in my day,” but seriously, as kids, we were always herded to the front to we could see the festivities! And don’t get me started about the carnival with it’s $4.50 prepackaged, hardened fairy floss. Or the over priced rides. Ughm
