Mum's Post Breast Cancer Op Results... not good...

Last week, on Tuesday, mum went in to have a lumpectomy, where they removed a lump from her breast, along with three lymph nodes for testing. The surgery was a success and the doctors anticipated that in 6 weeks she’d have a dose of radiotherapy, and we’d be done with it. Not so. Took the kids to Moomba today, along with FIL, SIL, BIL, his partner and his two kids. It was a lot of fun but I think I must be getting grumpy in my old age. NaBloPoMo- the finish.

I have to say, that one full month of daily posting has shown me… that in the end, I resorted to posting random rubbish. A few times, I managed to come in less than a minute before the midnight deadline. Funny pictures and bad haikus were my saviour. And I’m still no closer to figuring out my blogging niche. It’s given me a lot to ponder, but I’m glad the month is over :)...
